I am a fourth year Honours student doing a BSc with a concentration in Ecology. I am returning to the Wyeth lab for my second year as a research student to complete my Honours Thesis. I will be working with Rachel Webber and investigate lobster behavior response to various bait options near Cribbons Point, Nova Scotia.

I entered St.FX as a mature student and since then, I have been involved in three research projects. After my first year, I worked in Brier Island studying Canada’s rarest plant, Geum peckii. I joined the Wyeth lab after my second year to study antifouling methods for aquaculture netting. I am enthusiastic to start this year’s project, and plan to do a Master’s degree in Wildlife Conservation after completing my undergraduate degree.
